Phantom Hydrangea

Phantom Hydrangea is an ornamental shrub. Use several for a floral hedge along your garage, or even just one as a focal point for the flower bed in your front yard. Your Phantom Hydrangea, just as the name implies, produces ethereal blooms. The massive, 15-inch clusters of blossoms are the prominent features of this incredible shrub, and sure to draw comments from your neighbors and friends. In early summer the delicate blossoms appear with a light green hue. The blooms slowly transition to pristine white before assuming a pleasingly-pink shade for autumn. It's an impressive Hydrangea variety to be sure and likely to become your favorite flowering shrub this year. Phantom Hydrangea is a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub that will grow up to 10 feet in height with an equal spread. It has an upright form and stronger stems than some other Hydrangea varieties, so your flowers won't droop down to the ground. You can leave it to grow naturally, or prune it back to attain even larger flower heads. It's adaptive to a variety of conditions. Phantom Hydrangea is overall quite hardy, so not likely to require much care from you in return for its remarkable features. Hydrangeas come in many colors and forms, but few can rival the majestic size and color of the Phantom Hydrangea! 

Planting Instructions - Dig your planting hole twice the diameter of the root ball. You should dig the hole so that once planted it will be at the same level in the ground as it was in its container. Before you place it into its hole, you should loosen the soil around the outside of the root ball. This will help the roots to spread more easily once it is planted. Place your shrub into the hole. Back-fill the hole with soil and pack it down firmly. Water well to help get rid of air pockets in the soil. Add a layer of mulch to your newly planted shrub. This will help the soil to conserve moisture.
